The new NSW Responsible Conduct of Gambling (NSW RCG) was approved by Liquor and Gaming NSW (L&GNSW) on 1 February 2023. It is a mandatory requirement for anyone working in the gaming area of an NSW club or hotel. Zealifi is approved by the Liquor & Gaming NSW government to deliver the NSW RCG course via face to face and we have regular courses delivered at Twin Towns Services club.
Duration:Â 1 day of training (over 7 hours) class attendance time is legislated by L&GNSW, which includes completion of mandatory quizzes, group activities and role plays which requires participation and attendance of the entire day.
Assessment: After completing the course, Zealifi will lodge your course completion with the L&GNSW interim certificate portal within 48 hours. L&GNSW will then send you a link and login details to complete the mandatory L&GNSW online RCG assessment.
Certificate: On passing the online assessment, L&GNSW will email your RCG interim certificate. The interim certificate is valid for 90 days and allows you to work immediately. You must take the interim certificate to Service NSW for the photo competency card to be processed which is posted out to you. The photo competency card is valid for 5 years.
**IMPORTANT**
Please don’t book this course if you need to renew your competency card. As you only need to complete the Liquor and Gaming NSW online refresher course.
